Description

Superior Production, LLC., a manufacturer of metal stampings, is part of a large privately owned company involved in various metal manufacturing processes in the United States. We provide Stamping and Machining services throughout the Midwest for a variety of customers.

We are currently seeking to add an IT Manager/Technician - Hands-on type to support the Company's digital footprint.

The position would be responsible for:

Hardware requirements (installation, network connections, internet, and server maintenance).Responsible for the Security system, plant cameras, phone system, and fire alarm system.Solid understanding of office browser, XP, and Microsoft Office products, O365.3 to 5 years' experience in IT/Manufacturing environment.Understanding of ERP system (M2M) and ability to solve problems with software providers under our maintenance contract via remote access/hotline to support MRP functions of the business.Network (ISO) virus monitoring and reportingNetwork (ISO) backup monitoring and reportingNetwork (ISO) server health monitoring and reportingPerforms analysis and makes recommendations regarding server and network related equipment and software.Develops and evaluates options in infrastructure planning to support new applications and technologies.Performs capacity planning activities, ad recommends outsourcing when appropriateAnalyzes server and network activity and maintains performance monitoring systems as well as other software programs e.g., intrusion detection, virus scanning applications, etc.Conducts product evaluations of upgraded or new hardware and software identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits.Participates in the development of policies and procedures for use of network facilities and then ensures implementationProcures, configures, and installs desktop, server and network hardware and software.Maintains a project list with timelines and budgetsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees, and vendorsTrains users on new hardware, software, tracks training, reports training progress to Management and HRCommunicate effectively orally and in writingRequirements

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Microsoft O365Working knowledge of Microsoft Active DirectoryThis position is a customer service position who will be supporting users with varying levels of computer and software knowledge.Computer skills - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookGood troubleshooting skills with the ability to find creative solutions and to be resourceful.Excellent attention to detail.Benefits:

Working Hours:

This position will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM -5:00 PM. Special hours for weekend, or projects needing support outside of the normal work week.
