Credit and Collections Analyst (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Credit investigation, collection, timely application of payments to and reconciliation of customer accounts• Establish best practices related to credit and collections activities while maintaining appropriate controls• Develop relationships with Sisecam customers through regular communications by phone and email.• Establish and maintain effective credit and collection procedures and policies to support the company’scash flow targets, and overall goals and objectives• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Treasury Departments on a regular basis to alignobjectives and meet all financial targets• Coordinates the set up and approval of new customers, and changes to existing customers in ERP system• Assist with review of customer creditworthiness and set customer credit limits on an annual basis• Oversee the invoicing function to ensure accuracy of revenue recognition according to accountingstandards.• Provide periodic updates on the status of past due customer accounts, and action plans to address issues• Prepare monthly reconciliation, reporting and forecasting of cash receipts• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes while focusing on safety and bestpractices• Use continuous improvement tools to maximize the effectiveness of all processes• Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.• Financial background with 3 -5 years of Commercial Credit and Collections experience• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills• Demonstrated experience in ERP tools (D365, SAP, etc.)• Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and externalagencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results• Excellent planning and organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects• Advanced proficiency with Excel• A self-starter who can work independently and efficiently on projects and key deliverables under timepressures and deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Demonstrated ability to institute process improvements which help maximize efficiencies in the “Order toCash” process
