Description

Konami Gaming is looking for a Temporary Shipping Clerk I to join our team!

This position is responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager and Shipping Receiving Clerks in the daily operations of the Konami shipping and receiving docks to ensure the readiness and accuracy of all shipping articles, proper packing and labeling of all items, and the proper receipt and inspection of received goods. Success in this role requires flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively while adhering to department and company policies and procedures.

What you'll be doing:

Shipping/Receiving SupportResponsible for following the instructions and directions of the Logistics Manager in support of the daily operations of the Konami Shipping / Receiving docks.Responsible for following accurate tracking of the Finished Goods Storage area to include daily bar code tracking, staging units before shipping, conducting order readiness checks and communicate order shipping readiness to logistics manage as required.OSHA

Participates fully in company health and safety programs and complies with all company OSHA policies and procedures.Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.Wears and/or uses personal protective equipment, when and how instructed.Reports hazardous conditions to managementReports any job-related injury or illness to management, and seeks treatment promptly.Performs other duties as assigned.About Konami Gaming, Inc.:

Qualifications

What we'll want you to have:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.One to four years of related experience and/or training preferred.Forklift certification required. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be able to obtain and retain gaming licensure.Work Environment:

Full time / 40 + Hours per week. Must be flexible for overtime, including evenings, weekends and Holidays as required.Position shall work primarily in a warehouse environment.Must be comfortable working on a concrete floor and warehouse environment. Must have the ability to move fast and function quickly on a daily basis. Position can be high stress and extremely fast paced. Ability to handle directive, assess situations, enter into dialogue and complete tasks. Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack. Must be able to listen and respond to verbal and written directions in English. May be required to move machines weighing up to 300 pounds with hand truck assistance. May be required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English.
