Position Summary
Primary trade and technical support resource during APAC and EMEA trading hours (8:00PM to 4:00AM Central). First-line responder covering trading in global securities via our proprietary platform for international clients in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. This position will be mainly remote, but a hybrid work schedule may be occasionally necessary.
ResponsibilitiesProvide 1st level, comprehensive support to trading application users.Handle support requests via phone, email and direct messaging, with an emphasis on timely response.Create, modify, and maintain user logins and account configurations within WEX systems.Act as primary resource for platform support bridging US/APAC/EMEA market hours and oversee a daily handoff to UK-based support staff.Work with vendors (Exchanges, ECNs, etc.) to resolve production issues.Occasionally work with developers to improve software and troubleshoot problems.Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds.Work on special projects as necessary.Qualifications
Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Must have excellent customer support and communication skills.Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology.Prior experience supporting APAC and/or EMEA marketplaces and listed securities strongly preferred.Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications, such as Reuters, TT, PATS, Bloomberg, and GL Trade.Need to be very comfortable working independently, with limited opportunities for real-time collaboration with other support staff.Self-motivated, decisive, energetic and results oriented.
