Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in managing, analyzing, and troubleshooting data in Domo. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data visualization, ETL processes, and data integrity within the Domo platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that data in Domo is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business requirements. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to fix any issues related to data reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
This candidate must be comfortable with significant data clean up, optimization & implementing streamlined (automated) processes to maintain correct validated data.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain one source of validated data for the entire company and ensure its accuracy.Manage and maintain Domo datasets, dataflows, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Troubleshoot and fix issues related to incorrect or incomplete data within Domo.Collaborate with business users to understand data requirements and provide insightful analysis.Build and optimize ETL processes in Domo to automate data flows from multiple sources.Identify and resolve data discrepancies, perform data cleansing, and ensure data consistency.Develop and enhance Domo visualizations and dashboards to support business decision-making.Monitor data pipelines and provide recommendations for improvements to reduce data errors.Provide training and support to end users on best practices for data utilization in Domo.Stay up to date with Domo platform updates and new features to enhance system performance.Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in data analysis using Domo.Proficiency in SQL and other querying languages.Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data flows, and troubleshooting in Domo.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly ExcelStrong understanding of data visualization principles and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix data-related issues.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts.Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Experience with API integration and connecting various data sources to Domo.Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau and Power BIKnowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.Experience working with cross functional teams, particularly finance & operations
