Description:
As an Advanced Configuration Management Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of engineering changes, product improvements, and new product development. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in support of national defense. You will coordinate between engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to document and control changes, ensuring adherence to configuration management practices.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain an Engineering Change Notice System, managing product improvements, repairs, and new product development.Coordinate interactions between engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure appropriate documentation and control of changes.Review design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations, ensuring configuration identification.Work across various organizations, including Engineering, Quality, Support, and Manufacturing, to coordinate processes and design control.Facilitate and conduct Configuration Management audits.Assess Configuration Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.Develop, control, and manage multiple product and allocated baselines.Required Skills:
Experience in executing a Configuration Management/change control process in both development and manufacturing environments.Excellent knowledge of industry and Department of Defense (DoD) standards, Hardware, and Software Configuration Management practices.Experience with change control boards, approval processes, and comment adjudication.Proficiency in conducting Configuration Management audits and assessments.Strong ability to develop, control, and manage multiple product baselines.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) applications.
