Title: Program Manager DCGS Training Program

Location: San Angelo, TX AFB

Program: Airforce/ Contingent upon Contract award

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Oversee business process improvement analysis and project management support for DCGS support tof 313 TRS and Intelligence Analysis PRogram
  • Coordinate tasks and review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements and Quality Control Plans (QCPs)
  • Meet the requirements of all work with a focus on client and customer service, as well as monitor and proactively manage Contract requirements.
  • The PM and 17th TRSS COR(s) will work closely together to establish a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), balance the workload, and ensure that the work to be completed meets all expectations and projected timelines. The PM will notify the 17th TRSS COR(s) if the timelines are at risk and will develop the required remedy actions to get back on schedule.
  • Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business process improvements. Efforts may also include assisting in defining scope, developing plans, timelines, tracking action items and their resolution, and assessing workforce distribution requirements
  • Coordinate tasks and review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements and Quality Control Plans (QCPs)
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility to ensure effective management of the resources assigned to the requirement.
  • Define, research, analyze, document, and recommend best business practices process solutions, guidance, legislation, protocols, policies, and integrated tools.
  • Develop and implement change management, marketing, and communication strategies.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze data for trends.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications for Program Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • 10 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • PM over Training Programs experience required
  • Airforce experience Preferred
  • Analysis 200 and 300 experience preferred
  • Airforce ADG, DCGS, ISR experience HIGLY Preferred.
  • DoD TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
