NATURE OF WORK
Must hold a North Carolina license in Administration (code 012).

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Pre-Class Organization: assists to implement student orientation and registration activities.
  2. Planning the School Program: assists in the development and establishing of school goals and objectives and the planning of the schools instructional program.
  3. Implementing the School Program: assists to provide direction to staff in implementing goals and objective and interacts and meets with staff to assist in their development.
  4. Evaluation and Remediation of the School Program: assists in the evaluation of the school program and of staff and assists to initiate needed improvements.
  5. involving the Staff in Budget Allocations: involves the staff in setting budget priorities.
  6. Keeping Professionally Competent: acts to upgrade own professional knowledge and skills.
  7. Coordinating Budgets and Schedules: assists in the preparation and management of budgets and schedules and in the coordination and implementation of the co-curricular program.
  8. Handling Disciplinary Procedures: assists to define and disseminate information about school disciplinary policies and procedures to parents, students, staff and community.
  9. Coordination and Communicating the Schools Formal Structure: communicates and carries out established policies, delegates and accepts responsibility for completion of tasks and communicates program goals, objectives and policies to the community
  10. Coordinating School Services and Resources: assists in supervising and maintaining auxiliary services and uses community resources to supplement the school program.
  11. Facilitating Organizational Efficient: promotes and maintains open communications, positive student attitudes, respects dignity, worth of staff, students, and complies with established lines of authority.
  12. Assisting in Record Keeping: assists in completion of records and reports and in the supervision and inventory of necessary supplies, textbooks, equipment and materials.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  1. Masterful knowledge of curriculum and best practices
  2. Highly developed presentation skills
  3. Knowledge of effective staff development models that lead to the successful development of effective teachers
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  5. Considerable human relations and human development skills
  6. Demonstrated leadership ability
  7. Good technical skills with technology and presentation tools
  8. Ability to use common office machines and popular computer-driver word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs
  9. Ability to maintain complete and accurate records and statistics and to develop meaningful reports from that information
  10. Ability to plan and evaluate strategies for new teacher development
  11. Ability to exercise considerable tact and courtesy in frequent contact with the public
  12. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments
  13. Ability to work with adult learners

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full-time for eleven (11) months
Salary based on state and local salary schedules
