Our HR Technology and Operations (HRTO)team oversees the global HR technology strategy and portfolio and provides people analytics, HR shared services, and other operational support and enablement across the enterprise. This is a critical leadership position within the HRTO organization. This leader will be responsible for the global HR technology strategy, manage the HR technology portfolio, and supervise a sizable team to ensure successful delivery of enterprise level HR technology, operational excellence, and optimal employee experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the HR technology strategy, portfolio, and roadmap to enable HR processes and support critical business outcomes, continuously driving innovation, standardization, automation/self-service, compliance, and improved employee experience through technology solutions
  • Oversee the development and governance of the technology portfolio, understanding and assessing needs and opportunities across functional areas; make prioritization and investment recommendations to senior HR leadership
  • Supervise and develop the HRTO team (n13) including the Chief Architect, functional product owners, and Security and Compliance lead. Appropriately coordinate team priorities and workload across new releases/implementations, ongoing support and ad hoc initiatives in areas such as M&A and compliance.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with HR leadership and other key partners to assess needs, effectiveness and opportunities associated with HR technology, with solid focus on the AI and automation agenda.
  • Act as senior relationship owner with Workday and other suppliers/ partners, overseeing vendor performance and contract management in collaboration with procurement
  • Serve as senior system owner of Workday and other HR technologies, ensuring appropriate governance of HR systems and compliance with data privacy and other legal requirements
  • Ensure optimization and adoption of HR technologies through ongoing and effective application support and release management, including OCM, training and other end-user support.
  • Partner with HR IT, vendors, and HR Technology and Operations team members to ensure effective integration across technology and other operational capabilities including downstream HR data consumption, analytics, HR Shared Services, enterprise portal, etc.
  • Actively engage with Workday Community and other external sources to build knowledge and influence emerging and best practices in HR technology
  • Define expectations and standards and develop and complete appropriate operational metrics to assess effectiveness of HR technology and team


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems or related field
  • 5+ years' experience with HR technology
  • Supervisory experience

Additional Skills/Preferences
  • Strong people management and development skills
  • Experience building and leading teams from strategy to operational execution
  • 3+ years of Workday and/or other HCM technology experience
  • 3+ years of HR operations and/or HR COE experience
  • Experience managing global/enterprise-level programs, projects, and changes
  • Excellent skills in communication and relationship management; experience influencing at all levels of the organization
  • Extensive knowledge of internal HR processes and external best practices
  • In depth understanding of HR Technology environment and evolving trends
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient project management and HR business process improvement and redesign skills
  • Six Sigma experience
  • Ability to focus on diverse end-user experience; strong knowledge of organizational change principles and methodologies
