We are a privately owned small, companion animal hospital, located in beautifyl coastal Dartmouth, Massachusetts (between Cape Cod and Providence, RI, an hour from Boston), seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join our team. Our brand new clinic offers state of the art care, in-house diagnostics and x-ray, dental suite, surgical suite, private euthanasia suite. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional veterinary services. Clinic open: Monday thru Friday 8 am - 6 pm, Saturdays 8 am - noon. Flex schedule, work every other weekend.Pay is based on experience, but with strong commission incentive. Signing bonus or moving assistance for right fit.Responsibilities- Perform medical examinations small companion animals (mostly dogs and cats)- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries- Administer vaccinations and medications- Perform surgeries and dental services (preferred)- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans- Maintain accurate medical records- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff membersExperience- Required Skills: animal restraint techniques, laboratory procedures, veterinary medicine knowledge, understanding of veterinary terminology- Nice-to-Have Skills: animal catheterization proficiency, dog handling skills, animal husbandry knowledgeJoin our team of dedicated professionals and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
