Director - Property Tax role:File real property tax appeals on behalf of clients as neededUtilize available resources to perform Cost, Market and Income Approach valuations for properties to be appealedIdentify resources needed for valuationReview client real estate holdings to identify property tax appeal opportunitiesRepresent clients in negotiations with taxing authoritiesDevelop Staff to support real property tax appeals processProvide support and guidance for Personal Property Tax Compliance TeamHelp identify consulting opportunities and potential areas of risk for Personal Property Tax returns processPartner with Industry leaders to develop thought leadership plans for property taxWhat you will need:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.Experience: Six years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm and/or professional services firm.Certification/ Licenses: CPA certification. JD or EA (Enrolled Agent) may be accepted in place of CPA certification.Deep knowledge and understanding of State & Local Tax and Property Tax preferred.The wage range for this position is: $107,000 - $204,000.In addition to base pay, this position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
