Task Order DescriptionWorking within Infrastructure division:
cquires, architects, installs, configures, maintains, and supports network environments (WAN, LAN, and wireless networks) associated equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, controllers, access points, load balancers) to meet application and core service requirements; manages and monitors network environments; troubleshoots/resolves identified and reported problems; serves as an escalation contact for complex issues; works with vendors to resolve problems; performs advanced script writing, updating and coding of automation tools and services; performs asset life cycle management for network equipment and software; creates, maintains and adheres to policies, procedures, standards and operational instructions for network environments.rchitects, implements, and manages a data center environment including cabinet, cabling, and power configuration.Serves as senior technical lead on complex projects; interacts with project teams, vendors and other agencies to gather requirements, researches and recommends network environment solutions, provides technical guidance for solutions, coordinates equipment deployment and participates in systems installation, configuration and testing; provides guidance and mentoring to team members during installations, configurations and management of equipment; provides direction in complex problem solving situations; identifies and recommends process improvements.rchitects, implements, maintains, and supports cloud solutions.rchitects, implements, maintains, and supports data protection and system disaster recovery solutions; ensures data and systems are backed up, replicated and recoverable as required; ensures network environments are connected and secure by performing security monitoring, vulnerability scanning and remediation, updates/upgrades network environments to keep current with security and version releases; participates in incident response; architects and implements security solutions and proposes technology to increase security posture.ssists in planning and preparing for future technology solutions; stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends; meets with vendors to understand product roadmaps; researches, evaluates and tests emerging technologies; and makes recommendations.rchitects, acquires, installs, configures, maintains, and supports hardware and software solutions to manage, monitor, and operate network environments; as well to deliver cores services.ssists in developing budget and spend plans for future years; obtains vendor quotes and negotiates purchases.
