to join our Technology team. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Berwyn, PA office location.

Job Summary:

The QA Automation Engineer I ensures the delivery of high-quality software by participating in defining and executing test cases for front-end and back-end systems to maintain client satisfaction. This role requires a professional with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in automating test processes and estimating outcomes. The QA Automation Engineer I collaborates effectively in a hybrid in office/remote team environment and is committed to continuous learning.

Job Responsibilities:Participate in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and efficiency in the development lifecycleDevelop an understanding of automation framework and best practices and aligns work output to expectations of automation framework.Participate in manual and automated testing of enhancements, strategic initiatives, and reported defectsProficient in automation core-competencies practiced at ENV and maintains high quality standards through delivery integrity and commitment to client happiness and QA organizational successCollaborate with the QA team and other internal stakeholders to ensure test coverage (manual and automated) meet expectations and render expected outcomesSupport data gathering for accurate quality metrics (client-centric, manual, and automated) and good Jira hygieneEnsure bugs and client-reported issues are triaged and tested per SLAParticipates in scrum ceremonies, always acting in the capacity of a QA Ambassador, ensuring high standards of quality in all team activities and decisionsSupport a scrum team or specific module functionalityDevelop a thorough understanding of the wealth platform to better understand testing needs and client expectationsConduct integration testing to ensure that individual components and systems work together seamlessly, verifying interactions and data flow between different modules to identify and resolve issues early in the development processWrite and execute basic SQL queries to validate data and support testing activities, leveraging knowledge of databases such as SQL and Snowflake.Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.Required Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject1-3 years of experience in software testing2+ years experience with backend testing/API testing using Postman2+ years hands-on automation experience with automation tools like Cypress, Selenium WebDriver and Page Object Model Structure2+ years of experience on writing automation tests in Java Script (node.js, React.js)1+ years of experience in an Agile, CI/CD based environment2+ years of experience creating and executing SQL scripts1+ years of experience creating automation tests in a QA automation framework. These may include but are not limited to: Page Object Model Selenium WebDriver framework.Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases (including API tests), test strategies, test schedules, test estimations, and bug tracking management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communicate skills for reporting issuesDesire to learn and gain domain knowledge real-timeAbility to collaborate seamlessly with a global team during all phases of SDLCPreferred Qualifications:
