As a Product Support Engineer I, you will be learning to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You'll assist with assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. You're technical responsibilities include the support of product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air, land, sea, space and cyber. https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/*This is a Deployed Rotational Position.*Responsibilities:Provide Aircraft maintenance support in a high OPTEMPO environment, meeting or exceeding required Mission Capability (MC) rate at an overseas location.Interpret manufacturer and internal manuals, drawings, technical references, and CAMPS documents.Experience with circuits and wiring assemblies and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.Perform simple tests such as continuity checks.Install and Integrate wiring, and termination in accordance with system requirements.Ability to terminate various coaxial, circular, and MIL-SPEC connectors.Have good hand eye coordination and be able to use a variety of standard hand tools including crimpers and soldering irons.Knowledge of proper ESD controls.Maintain aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service.Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.Work on complex technical problems to provide solutions.Compliance with all Security Protocols on and in support of Aircraft Operations.Ability to perform Windows/Domain administration tasks.Knowledge of how to Patch product specific systems.Must be detail and quality oriented.Must-haves:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or typically 0-2 or more years of related experienceUnderstanding and experience of EO/IR VORTEXi(X), ORION-E, wideband KA SATCOM, radar, COMINT, and BLOS systemsExposure to wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computersCommunication and customer interface skillsFamiliarity with system level maintenance of networks and communications systemsExperience using troubleshooting techniquesUnderstanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systemAn active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required ?Preferred:Working knowledge of operating military units and logisticsFamiliarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensorsAbility to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US MilitaryLeadership experience in the military or civilian organizationSNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance.
