Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's domestic and international income tax compliance. Responsible for the reviewing of Forms 1120, 1118, 5471 and 8858 for all relevant affiliated entities. Responsible for managing country by country reporting.

Responsibilities

Tax Compliance:Review the calculation of federal taxable and it's supporting workpapers and the consolidated Form 1120 including the review of necessary elections and disclosures.Review tested income calculation and Subpart F Income and related Forms 5471s and 8858s for foreign subsidiaries/branches.Review Form 1118 and the related computations.Review data for country-by-country reporting.Keep abreast on Pillar II enactments, registrations and reporting requirements.Coordinate with outside advisors to manage proper tax return filings outside the U.S. and to keep track of all returns that have been filed.Perform research to support positions taken in the tax returns and prepare required supporting documentation, including memoranda.Coordinate with the tax accounting team to ensure efficient integration of the tax accounting and international tax compliance processes.Review the annual and quarterly tax provision related to foreign operations including review of the foreign tax credit calculations.Review Forms 1042, W-8s and FBARAudit Defense:

Prepare and/or review responses to all Information Document Requests (IDRs) issued to the company by IRS and state agencies.Oversee maintenance of detailed logs of all IDR responses and other communications with the IRS and state agencies.Regularly participate in strategy discussions with tax counsel and economists and assist with all necessary internal data gathering and analysis.Communicate with foreign controllers/managers to keep apprised of tax audits occurring outside the U.S. and to provide all necessary and possible support from the U.S.Keep an updated list of current tax audits worldwide.

Regularly attend technical issue seminars provided by professional firms.

Training:

Participate in on-line courses and review technical materials to keep up to date on tax and accounting pronouncements.Minimal Travel Requirement - 5% (Up to 3 weeks)

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent knowledge of U.S. federal and international tax concepts, including hybrid entities, Subpart F, global intangible low-taxed income, foreign tax credits and the treatment of related party transactions.Excellent knowledge of federal income tax concepts.Work Environment

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $153,513.00 and $219,304.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
