This team creates go-to-market strategies to bring consumer-facing products and features to market across our three core brands: Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.In this role, you will lead product marketing initiatives for an innovative suite of travel planning features spearheaded by the Trip Experience product team. You will cultivate collaborative relationships and serve as a key partner to your Product and Brand Marketing counterparts. With a deep knowledge of the Trip Experience product space, you will champion customer-centric products and communicate the product vision, craft insights to help inform product development, and develop effective go-to-market strategies. Through compelling product positioning and messaging, you will help bring our products and features to life for the customer to drive adoption and growth. As a leader, you have experience diving into a complex ecosystem of stakeholders, and excel at communication, storytelling, and driving alignment across the organization.In this role you will:
Build collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams across Product and Marketing to drive adoption and usage of key products and features, and make recommendations to optimize growth.Use data-driven insights to craft relevant, benefit-based messaging, positioning, and value propositions that can be leveraged by the global marketing and UX content teams to tell a compelling story that differentiates us in the market.Champion customer needs to influence product roadmaps, provide insights, and share expertise to build relationships with Product and Marketing stakeholders.Lead go-to-market planning for product launches and feature releases to ensure launch readiness and alignment between product and marketing teams, and support Brand and Performance marketing teams in the activation of their channels.Use deep understanding of the Trip Experience product to effectively communicate the benefits, performance metrics, and vision for the product suite to get buy-in from leaders across the organization.Bring industry best practices to the team and be a champion for product marketing while bringing clarity, simplicity, and accountability.Experience and Qualifications
You have 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product, or brand marketing in a B2C organization, with a minimum of 3 years spent in product marketing leading go-to-market efforts. You have experience managing and leading large scale, global product marketing projects. You are an experienced influencer with executive presence and proven ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and senior leaders. You have the ability to conduct market, competitor, and customer research to capture insights and assess market opportunities. You have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to create an impactful narrative and compelling message and value proposition. You are highly collaborative, and proactive in relationship building among cross-functional counterparts.The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000 to $217,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $146,000 to $204,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. The total cash range for this position in Austin is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
