Your Role on Our Team

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to add to our BI Engineering team supporting finance. The position will be responsible for creating data models, dashboards, and reports that enable data analysis to drive decision-making processes within the finance organization. This person will also partner with the IT data group to ensure the right data pipelines exist to support our reporting needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who places an emphasis on data and reporting architecture that will allow the finance team to efficiently grow with the business.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:Gather and analyze business requirements to design data models and BI solutions.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).Implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into data warehouses.Ensure data quality and integrity across BI systems and reports.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.Monitor and optimize BI performance and make recommendations for improvements.Support tracking and reporting progress of data and reporting needs throughout the finance organization.Support data governance initiatives.Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics and engineering.Partner with the IT team as they develop new data warehouse capabilities and train the finance team on best practices for using the new tools.The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technical initiatives with business goals.Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.Experience with the Oracle platform considered a plusAbility to work well on diverse, cross-functional teamsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail is a must with a willingness to tic and tie data to ensure accuracyWe provide these great perks and benefits:
