Our professionals include CPAs and JDs.The Tax Senior Manager serves as a trusted advisor and member of various client service teams and must possess significant knowledge of taxation compliance and consulting related to personal, partnership, trust, estate, gift, and wealth retention strategies as well as charitable entities managed by ultra-high net worth clients. You will also participate in client development, team management, and conduct research to be current as a subject matter expert.How you will contribute:Providing tax compliance and tax advisory services to individuals, trusts, estates, and private foundations with an emphasis on sophisticated individual, fiduciary, gift, and estate tax mattersHelping in developing, building, and managing client relationships as part of the proposal processParticipating in networking activities to further expand business opportunities and client relationships.Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffReviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniorsEffectively delegating responsibilities to others, monitoring efforts of engagement teamsProficiently using technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes through the use of technologySuccessfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and communicating those findings in writingWe are looking for people with Forward Vision and:Dedication to client serviceAn ability to maintain functional expertise and understanding of a client's business or family structure, which is essential to addressing client concerns and challengesExcellent supervisory and time management skillsThe ability to exhibit effective communication and listening skills to enhance problem-solving for our clients, team, and operational performanceMinimum Qualifications:7 years of related experience in public accounting, law firm or trust departmentBachelor's or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldCPA license or J.D. degree and bar admissionExperience managing multiple client engagements#LI-KCMO
