Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Applications Analyst is to ensure data integrity of information contained in the companys application used for tracking all tenant and lease related data. The Applications Analyst provides timely and accurate reporting of RMR lease data in order to drive portfolio strategy decision making. This individual must be able to produce accurate and detail-oriented work while managing multiple priorities against key deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Partner with business stakeholders to create an understanding of the Current State processes (including documentation), the challenges and opportunities, recommended process changes, and high-level business requirements.Create process documentation that is used to drive cross-functional awareness and alignment, prioritize process changes, and help inform the business and technology teams of their scope.Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, improve the customer and stakeholder experience, reduce costs, and minimize waste.Ensure the source systems (Yardi, View the Space, Argus, etc.) have accurate and consistent tenant and lease data. Record acquisition and disposition changes as they occur in real time.Prepare monthly reports including annualized revenue creation, market rent data, retention and absorption statistics, leasing activity, and board leasing report.Serve as point person for VTS platform as it pertains to user provisioning and overall use of environment.Interact with other departments in organization to improve processes and minimize operational risks.Work closely with Data and Analytics engineers to build out data pipelines and relevant data visualizations and reporting dashboards.Assist with implementation of new and administration of existing SaaS systems.Assist with data imports and exports, and deal modeling support.Participate as a project team lead on various group projects.Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, in business, information services, or related field.3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Commercial Real Estate industry (Yardi, View the Space (VTS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to research and analyze data to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with internal customers and external contacts.Experience (or expertise) with the MS productivity tools (i.e. Planner, Flow, PowerApps, SharePoint).Advanced skills with process management/mapping software (e.g. MS Visio or comparable application).Assist with implementation of new and administration of existing SaaS systems.Ability to diagnose and solve problems with SaaS systems in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of SQL with an interest to become more proficient.Ability to work independently and within a team.Strong sense of ownership and pride in ones work.Excellent work ethic and the ability to be a productive and reliable team member.
