In this long-term contract position, you will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and programmers to develop compelling gameplay mechanics and encounters that enhance player engagement.RequirementsExperience in game design with a focus on combat and encounter design, preferably in AAA titles.Create and drive player combat moves, systems, and tools from initial design through implementation, iteration, and completion.Create and maintain complex state machine and behavior tree scripting architectures for characters.Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics and level design principles.Ability to create and iterate on engaging combat scenarios that balance challenge and player enjoyment.Proficiency in design documentation and visual scripting tools.Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.A portfolio showcasing your experience and expertise in combat/encounter design.Knowledge of current trends in gaming and a passion for creating unforgettable gaming experiences.Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.BenefitsN/A
