Director Of Quality Assurance

Job Title: Director of Quality AssuranceJob DescriptionOversee the QA department, making sure all members are aligned with food safety and quality standards. Lead efforts to improve quality, productivity, and processes through innovation and new procedures. Train and mentor the QA team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed. Manage all audit processes and guide corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations. Stay up-to-date with food safety regulations and ensure all requirements (HACCP, SQF, USDA, etc.) are met and maintained across the company. Review and maintain supplier approval documentation to ensure high-quality standards for incoming material. Build and maintain a strong working relationship with USDA officials to ensure smooth operations. Administer company policies and ensure alignment within the QA department.Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Chemistry, or a related field.+ 10+ years of food processing, specifically in quality or production roles.+ 5+ years of experience managing teams and supervising operations.+ In-depth understanding of HACCP, USDA regulations, and industry best practices.+ Strong knowledge of environmental microbiology, production, and auditing.+ Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.Work Environment1st shift Monday-Friday.
