The Work:

​The Database Administrator (DBA) handles multifunctional database projects. The DBA administers development/test databases. The DBA is primarily responsible for performing many related database functions across one or more teams. This may include: designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. The DBA is able to install database management systems (DBMS); related software tools, and has a working knowledge of operating systems. The DBA is also able to submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

This role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office. The preferred hiring locations for this role is Cincinnati, OH but may consider qualified applicants in Tampa or Columbus.

What you need:

A minimum of one year of experience as an Oracle DBA in a production environment including DBA maintenance tasks, Backup/Recovery and basic SQL and shell scripting

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
