**Description:**Must be able to join metal parts, such as pipe or metal plates as specified by layout, blueprints, work orders, welding procedures or oral instructions through the application of heat or electric arc-welding equipmentMust be able to weld structure and pipe FCAW and TIG (carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum)Uses spot welding gun or hand, electric, or gas welding equipment to weld or tack weld pieces togetherPreheats work pieces for the preparation of welding or curving, using torchFills holes or corrects mistakes in lead pieces and makes bulges thin and curves in metal work piecesChecks the weakness of work pieces and measures work pieces with straightedge or template to ensure the piece meets specificationsClimbs up ladders or works on scaffolds to take apart texturesJoins pieces together, covers up taut points, and adds metal to develop partsMust be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of timeOther duties as assigned**Skills:**Mig, Welding, Blueprint, Weld, Tig, Mig welding, Flux core, Stainless steel, Fitting, Blueprint reading, Structure, Fabrication, Mig welder, Tig welding, Production, Assembly, Tape measure**Top Skills Details:**Mig,Welding,Blueprint,Weld,Tig,Mig welding,Flux core,Stainless steel,Fitting,Blueprint reading,Structure**Experience Level:**Expert Level**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
