Summary of Position:

This position is part of a team with a diverse skill set, responsible for improving, researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and consulting on IT-supported software systems, as well as integrating and developing new and existing software, databases, and reporting solutions in web and/or desktop contexts. Some key languages used are C#, UniBasic, T-SQL, HTML/XML/XSLT, CSS, and Javascript (with emphasis on jQuery and KnockoutJS). Individuals are encouraged to specialize (usually in our ERP or our web apps).

Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, analyze, and develop:

Enterprise software and databasesReports and utilitiesInterfaces with third party software and systems

Facilitate communication with clients and coworkersAuthor and maintain documentationComplete assignments according to predefined requirementsQualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferredExperience

Two (2) years of experience with software development and one year of experience in general database programmingRequired Skills

Microsoft/Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office products, and a specialization in Ellucian Administrative software, report-writing tools or ASP.NET (Web Form and MVC), and/or Git version control system
