We also offer Elderplan/HomeFirst: health plans for Medicare and dual-eligible individuals. As a not-for-profit organization, many of our programs and services are made possible through the generosity of grateful families, corporate donors and grants, as well as our own employees.
At MJHS, quality care is our mission. We are committed to creating a workforce as diverse as our community. We have a great culture; we offer great benefits that include a work/life balance and competitive rates.
MJHS attracts individuals who see their work as a calling as well as a job. Professionals in every job category have stated that they appreciate being left to make their own decisions, are encouraged to voice their opinions, and are given the necessary breathing room to do their work with minimal supervision. Yet, at the same time, they feel that management and their co-workers are solidly behind them and readily accessible.
Why work for MJHS?:
MJHS companies are qualified employers under the Federal Government's Paid Student Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF)
Responsibilities:
MJHS Home Care provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, patients can recover in the familiar surroundings of their home.
How can a OT thrive on independence and also be the quintessential team player?
If that describes you, then all you need is the right opportunity to do both-with the autonomy to do your job as you see fit, independently, while also being part of a team as dedicated to patient care as you are.
At
MJHS , you will find all that. You'll be in close daily contact with an interdisciplinary team whose high level of passion for their work-and compassion for their patients-matches yours. The free exchange of ideas with your team will also give you a multifaceted view of each patient's condition and potential.
In this role, your exceptional communication skills will be key to your success. You will schedule independent home visits to screen and treat your patients and continually reevaluate and document their progress. You'll also have a rare degree of flexibility to spend the time you need with each patient. And all along the way, you will enjoy the benefit of collaborating with a team of experienced clinicians who will be as open to your ideas as you are to theirs.
