Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CPI Must-Have: Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and reporting protocols for child/adult abuse, expertise in patient privacy and confidentiality Job Description: - Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are maintained.
