Overview:
HKS is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Structural team.

Responsibilities:
With close supervision, summer interns will work with professional engineers, engineers-in-training, and drafters on current projects
Structural Assignments may include:Analysis and design of building structure components such as foundations, columns, beams and floor framing systems, lateral force resisting systems, etc. Will require learning several structural analysis software.Use of Revit to coordinate with architecture and other disciplines and to produce construction documentsConstruction administration tasks such as reviewing RFIs and submittalsPotential for construction site visits in the vicinity of the internshipQualifications:
Currently a college student working to obtain a professional degree from an accredited Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.Entry level student intern on the path to Engineer-in-Training certification with little or no previous experienceWorking knowledge of Revit or other BIM drafting and presentation tools preferred
