We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, technical, and DOTMLPF expertise to work on projects for a Command client. You'll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and provide support to the client's layered resilience development. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to foreign threats or alliance security as part of joint missions. The world can't wait.You Have:Experience in the analysis of military forces, resilience, posture, planning, or operations in corporate, government, military, or academic environmentsExperience researching and analyzing international relations and security studies, civilian preparedness and disaster management, and Civilian-Military engagement and interactionExperience in Civilian and Civilian-Military Resilience at military strategic or operational levelsExperience with impacts of Civilian Preparedness and Resilience on Military Resilience at the strategic levelExperience working at the staff level in an environment such as a military headquarters, on gap analysis, strategic planning, policy development procedures, and associated staff work on the operational and strategic levels of military activitiesKnowledge of Civilian Preparedness and Disaster Response, and Civilian-Military Interaction and Engagement within an international organization or governmental organizationSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Political Science, International Studies, Security Studies, or Emergency PreparednessNice If You Have:Ability to build cooperative relationships with academia and governmental partnersAbility to work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability with substantial personal responsibilityAbility to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be creative and think innovativelyPossession of excellent written and verbal communication skillsMaster's degree in Political Science, International Studies, Security Studies, or Emergency PreparednessClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
