Production Worker - Valdosta, GAHourly Position
Pre-Requisites:Must be fully trained and mastered essential duties and responsibilities associated with the UTILITY position.Must be in good standing in regards to Safety, Environmental, and Quality programs.Must currently be in good standing with Attendance.Job Description:As a PRODUCTION WORKER, the essential duties & responsibilities will include:
Sustaining and maintaining the duties and tasks associated with the Utility Position.Support quality control responsibilities and must know how to perform all applicable analytical procedures.Following all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.Following and adherence to the Rail Safety Program, which includes assisting with rail movement equipment, operating rail switches, installing and removing removable rail safety devices, and rail inspections.Conducting preventive maintenance of rail safety and rail movement equipment.Adherence to and enforcing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).Adherence to Environmental Programs, including baghouse monitoring.Sustain and evaluate bulk inventory and conveying system.A rotating shift position.Track various product flows and movement through the systems.Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.Ability to operate industrial forklift/truck.Operate skidsteer equipment.Collect/obtain production sample from various sources as needed.Able to temporarily step up to Operator II position when needed to fulfill responsibilities.Be able to dismantle, clean, and assemble production equipment, as trained.Operate a tape measure for measuring storage tank inventories.Properly receive ingredients including, but not limited to, mineral oil, caustic, phosphoric acid, clay, hexane, and lubricants.**Cover Prep & Extraction Operator responsibilities for breaks. Up to & including 90 minutes in 24 hour period. If coverage is necessary beyond 90 minutes, then temporary step up to respective position applies.An employee in this position will be required to wear fall protection for certain job tasks, climb stairs, and lift heavy equipment (50-lbs).This position requires working all hours, all days, holidays, etc. and will be required to cover shift based on plant needs.Must be willing to step up and train other colleagues, if needed.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
