Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM/PM rotation Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: 3 Years Required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required - Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring - Required Must-Have: - L&D Experience: 3 Years Required - Experience with Cerner - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Highly Desired - Proficiency in English: Read, Write, Speak Job Description: - Care for patients including females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and those undergoing scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions.- Manage admissions, discharges, transfers, and pre-operative and delivery processes.- Utilize common Labor and Delivery equipment including Fetal Monitors and documentation systems like Cerner and Fetalink.- Provide triage and emergency responses as necessary.- Deliver high-quality patient care tailored to the needs of each individual.Interested candidates should have relevant experience and certifications to ensure the best care and service in a fast-paced environment.
