2nd Shift Welder

**Aerotek is hiring 2nd Shift MIG Welders in the Rockford area!****Position:** 2nd Shift MIG Welder**Location:** Rockford**Shift:** 2:00PM - 12:30AM (Overtime on Fridays or longer days)**Pay:** $25-30/hr + $5/hr shift differential**This is a direct placement opportunity and you will not be contracted through Aerotek.****Interviews are available within 1-2 business days.****Job Responsibilities:**+ Perform basic fit-up operations in preparation for welding, generally on high-turn stock and standard products.+ Use fixtures when available and appropriate.+ Provide set-up for welding operations.+ Perform MIG welding on products with medium complexity of moving parts and medium tolerances.+ Regularly weld plate thicknesses up to 3/8" and occasionally up to 1/2".+ Ensure welds are free from defects and meet blueprint and traveler specifications.**Work Environment:**+ Climate-controlled manufacturing shop with CNC machines, welders, grinders, an assembly department, and a shipping department.+ Employee-owned company with great benefits.**Benefits:**+ Direct hire position through Aerotek with benefits starting immediately.+ $5/hr shift premium offered on 2nd shift.+ Climate-controlled environment.+ Tuition reimbursement.+ Bonuses based on company profits.+ Catered lunch every other week.+ Promotion and growth opportunities from within.**Join the team and take advantage of the excellent benefits and opportunities for growth in an employee-owned company!****Apply Now!****About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
