Salary Range: $47.8400 - $74.1700 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.The PACU Nurse for Hoag Orthopedic Institute Surgery Center - Newport Beach will provide quality nursing care to all patients in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and professional regulatory standards. Utilizes the nursing process to meet patient care needs. Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Demonstrates leadership skills by directing personnel and establishing collegial relations with others. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance and conduct. Supports Hoag Hospital's and Orthopedic Surgery Center's mission. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge may include the use of specialized instrumentation, quality control requirements, and preventative maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:•Active, Current CA RN License.•ACLS, PALS & BLS Certifications.•Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.•Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety measures and infection control, ability to follow instructions, knowledge of age of population served, and additional skills and knowledge of equipment may be required for hire into some patient care departments.Job Preferences:•BSN•Critical care experience.
