Job Type Full-time Description SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing EDI processes that support business-critical transactions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline and optimize data exchange processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and legacy ERP systems. This role requires a solid understanding of EDI standards, experience with D365, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: EDI Implementation and Support: o Design, develop, and maintain EDI processes for communication between the company and its trading partners. o Configure EDI mapping and workflows to ensure seamless integration with internal systems, including Microsoft D365. o Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, resolving data transmission issues quickly. o Ensure compliance with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and industry best practices. o Work with trading partners to onboard new EDI connections, ensuring proper testing and validation. D365 Integration: o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement EDI solutions within the Microsoft D365 environment. o Ensure proper integration between D365 and EDI platform to facilitate seamless order processing, invoicing, shipping, and other business functions. o Develop custom reports and dashboards within D365 to track and monitor EDI transactions. o Provide support for D365-related EDI enhancements, upgrades, and migrations. Cross-functional Collaboration: o Work closely with operations, finance, and IT teams to ensure smooth data exchanges between systems and partners. o Liaise with external partners, vendors, and service providers to coordinate EDI activities and address issues. o Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and the use of D365 in managing transactions. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain detailed documentation for all EDI processes, mappings, and workflows. o Prepare and present reports on EDI system performance, issues, and opportunities for optimization. o Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards. TECHNOLOGY: Proficiency in EDI mapping and translation software (Cleo or similar) and other EDI tools Proven experience with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML. Working knowledge of Microsoft D365 Data Management Framework. Proven experience in APIs, web services, Logic Apps, and other integration technologies. Requirements OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or 8 years related experience. Typically requires 4 to 8 years of related experience. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with all areas of the business, and with external consultants.
