SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager Internal Audit, the Staff Auditor I is responsible for performing or assisting in the planning and execution of compliance and operational audits. This individual regularly interacts with mid-level management to discuss issues and recommends improved business practices.

Perform or assist in the planning and execution of compliance and operational audits of business operations at various Caesars properties, with a primary focus on
Caesars Virginia . This includes the following functions:Assist in performing compliance and operational audits of business operations at various Caesars propertiesAssist in examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controlsAssess compliance with regulatory requirementsIdentify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standardsContribute to a strong relationship with property mid-management and staffAssist in presenting verbal and written results of audit activities to various levels of management and staffQUALIFICATIONS:

Must be eligible for occupational (gaming) licensing in various gaming jurisdictions, primarily in Virgina, with the ability to travel to those locationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of managementKnowledge of accounting and auditing principles/standards, and familiarity with various computer systems and applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft OutlookAbility to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a changing environmentMust conduct themselves in a positive, credible, ethical manner at all timesAble to work in a team environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers and employees. Ability to communicate policies and procedures with individuals or groups. Ability to effectively present information.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Four-year degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university, or a four-year degree with sufficient courses in accounting and auditing required.
OTHER:
Periodic travel of approximately 25% may be required.
