Forvis Mazars is seeking a Senior Manager to assist with managing our growing unclaimed property tax practice. The qualified candidate should have experience within unclaimed property compliance and consulting (including voluntary disclosures and controversy matters) in multiple jurisdictions. Further, the qualified candidate should also have strong project management skills and the ability to train and develop other team members.
How you will contribute:
Managing large unclaimed property engagements across multiple jurisdictionsMaintaining a compliance calendar and assisting clients with compliance needsRepresenting clients undergoing unclaimed property auditsAssisting clients with voluntary disclosures in multiple jurisdictionsAdvise and consult with clients on various unclaimed property mattersCoach and mentor unclaimed property teamBuild relationships with clients and prospects
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
Strong project management and practice development skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAn ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writingAttention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldActive CPA license or other professional designation7 years or more of relevant work experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced understanding of MS ExcelPreferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in business, tax, or lawExperience with CCH Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint, and/or BNA Tax research software
