Piper Companies is currently searching for a
Sr System/Network Administrator
to work onsite in San Diego, CA for a leader in providing premier support to defense and civilian government agencies across the United States .
The
Sr System/Network Administrator will provide technical and professional support to the High-Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Office (HPCMPO) in various phases of its mission, including program management, technical support, and logistical services.
Responsibilities for the
Sr System/Network Administrator
include
:• Set up, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Internet systems.• Ensure network availability for all users through monitoring and necessary maintenance.• Conduct performance monitoring and testing for websites to ensure seamless operation.• Assist in network planning, analysis, and coordination between hardware and software.• Supervise computer user support and network support specialists.
Required Qualifications for the
Sr System/Network Administrator
i
nclude
:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.• Minimum of six years of relevant technical experience.• Proficiency in Linux and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.• Good judgment and interpersonal skills, capable of both independence and teamwork.• Must possess a Top Secret security clearance, with the potential for Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Compensation for the
Sr System/Network Administrator
include
:• $140,000 - $165,000 Base Salary *depending on experience*• Full Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick time, 401K and much more
