Job Overview

The General Technician II provides vehicle technical support for all clients via the telephone while utilizing our software equipment and guides customers through repairs and procedures.

Responsibilities:Provide information and advice on vehicle diagnostics and technical solutions to customer via telephone and supported equipmentDocument all customer interactions in OPUS IVS databaseWork within groups of technicians and software development teams to improve products and servicesMaximize first time resolution of customer queriesProvide training support and basic technical support to customers and employees as requiredOther duties as requestedRequirements

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED3 to 5 years' experience as an automobile technicianAutomotive Repair experience/education1-3 years of using an OE/Dealer level diagnostic and programming experienceADAS Calibration experienceProficient in Microsoft Office 365Superior customer service skillsStrong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customersAbility to multi-taskPreferred Qualifications:

ASE certificationsJ2534 flashing experienceFamiliarity with pre/post scanning of automobiles; OEM Scan tool experienceAdditional ASE, I-Car, MECP and ALLDATA Certifications/ExperienceASE Master Technician and/or L1 certificationCollision automotive experienceLeadership experienceBilingual in Spanish or Spanish speaking ability a plusWHAT WE OFFER:
