Job Description
We are currently sourcing for a Structural Welder with heavy civil & marine construction experience. Typical scope of work includes installation of piles, lagging, walers, braces and more for support of excavation projects. Geostructural, heavy civil, bridges or marine project experience to be considered.
Note: The pay rate for this job is $23 - $28 / hour This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Job Responsibilities:As a structural welder you will be an integral part of the team on site and responsible for welding steel beams, steel plates and other miscellaneous metals while performing basic pile driving duties.Must be proficient in the use of hand and power toolsUnloads and assembles pile driving hammer and leadsUnloads various types of piling - concrete, pip, h-piling, timber, and steel sheet piling Fuels, lubricates and maintains the pile driving hammer Uses oxygen/acetylene welding torch to cut steel plates, pipes, beams, etc.Prepare the piling to be driven and assists in positioning and driving pilingResponsible for on-site structural welding that will be visually & x-ray inspectedQualifications & Experience:Must have valid structural welding certificate of at least D1.1Must be able to read and interpret plans and schematicsMust have full welding gear & torchMinimum of 3 years of document experience in a structural welding roleAbility to lift and carry 80lbs of materials when neededTrueBlue, Inc. and its brands welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities.
