The Brook Hospital KMI & Dupont are currently seeking a
PRN Registered Dietitian
to join our team.

The Brook is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies. The Brook Hospital will strive to set the standard for excellence in the field of behavioral health care and will maintain its leadership role by treating each patient as a respected individual of our community.
The Dietitian coordinates and directs all Performance Improvement functions through the Medical Executive Committee. Recommends and develops hospital policies and procedures. In collaboration with the hospital management and Medical Director, develops and maintains the philosophy, goals, and objectives, which are congruent with the Mission and objectives of the hospital.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with major in foods, nutrition, dietetics or food service administration.One to two years of experience in dietetics.Must be a registered clinical dietitian, licensed in Kentucky.Other Skills
Knowledge of employee relations, food sanitation, safety and food labor laws, housekeeping procedures and food service techniques.Must know basic principles of nutrition as related to menu planning.Must have knowledge of diet therapy as well as interviewing, counseling and group teaching techniques.Written and oral communication skills.Skills in time management.Crisis intervention.Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principals of abnormal psychology.Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.Must demonstrate the ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization's cross-training, orientation program.Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentationEEO StatementAll UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
