Job Title: Surgical Technician - Clinical Services Job Specialty: Clinical Services - Surgery Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 8-hour Evening Shift (40 hours per week) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: 3 years of Surgical Processing Technician (SPT) experience with tray assembly experience and previous travel experience License: Certifications: Active CBSPD or CRCST Must-Have: - Tray assembly experience- Experience with EPIC and Censitrac for instrument tracking (preferred) Job Description: - Perform tray assembly and ensure each tray is complete and accurate- Execute sterilization and wrapping of surgical instruments- Engage in decontamination processes to maintain high standards of hygiene- Inspect instruments to ensure functionality and cleanliness- Conduct high-level disinfection procedures- Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation- Wear the designated procedural scrub colorThis role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in surgical instrument handling and management.
