**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Emergency Room**Job Duration:** 104 weeks**Shift:** 12x3 Night - 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week**Experience:** Minimum of two years in an emergency room setting**License:** New York State RN License**Certifications:**- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - only required for certain locations- IV/Phlebotomy experience required
**Must-Have:**- IV insertion and phlebotomy skills- Conscious sedation skills- Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak)
**Job Description:**- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as necessary- Administer conscious sedation safely and effectively- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care for patients- Maintain clear and accurate patient records- Adhere to established protocols and emergency room procedures- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
