We are seeking a dynamic Event Manager to join our team and help us deliver unforgettable events.Position Overview:
The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of events at Urban Air Adventure Parks, including birthday parties, corporate events, group outings, and special occasions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a creative thinker who can customize events to meet the needs and expectations of different client groups while ensuring an excellent guest experience.Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination:
Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences. Develop event plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure all details are covered.Sales & Client Engagement:
Drive event sales by reaching out to potential clients, giving tours of the facilities, and presenting tailored event packages. Follow up on leads and inquiries.Event Execution:
Oversee event setup, breakdown, and operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly. Troubleshoot any issues during events and make on-the-spot adjustments.Team Supervision:
Lead and manage a team of event staff, providing clear instructions and ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. Train staff as needed to meet event standards.Vendor Coordination:
Work with third-party vendors (e.g., catering, decorations, entertainment) to ensure all aspects of the event are well-coordinated.Customer Satisfaction:
Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests and providing exceptional service.Budget Management:
Monitor event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and control costs to ensure profitability.Marketing & Promotion:
Partner with the marketing team to promote events and activities. Develop new ideas to increase event bookings and expand client base.Post-Event Follow-Up:
Collect feedback from clients, conduct post-event evaluations, and use insights to improve future events.Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of event planning or event management experience, preferably in a hospitality, entertainment, or recreation setting.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field (preferred, but not required with relevant experience).Skills:Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and leading a team.Sales-oriented mindset with experience in driving event sales.Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.Pay:
