We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to own demand forecasting and tools for Prime Air’s drone delivery program. You will own the creation and optimization of forecasting models and tools to determine business needs as we expand the program to millions of customers. This includes collaborating with marketing, product, and operations stakeholders to ensure we are optimizing capacity and staffing based on expansion and new feature launches.Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.Key job responsibilities

Build, manage, and optimize all the key performance metrics for planning and forecastingSingle-threaded owner for Prime Air's S&OPAnalyze forecast variances, understand and mitigate variance drivers, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficienciesSupport short, medium, and long-term strategic planning discussionsContribute towards the annual operational planning processes in partnership with stakeholdersAdvising on the demand impact of new initiatives/productsPartner with finance teams on monthly/quarterly financial reporting, to represent business story related to forecast variancesResponsible for driving process and model improvements that directly impact day-to-day operations and the expansion roadmapMinimum Requirements

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience as a product manager or ownerExperience owning technology productsExperience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders2+ years of data visualization using AWS QuickSight, Tableau, R Shiny, etc. experience5+ years of experience with statistical analysis, modeling, and forecasting mechanismsExperience with SQL and one or more of the statistical modeling languages/ toolboxes (R, SAS, SPSS, Matlab, or Python)Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
