Location: New Orleans, Louisiana As District Director of Sales, you will oversee sales processes and occupancy growth for 13 Brookdale Senior Living communities in Louisiana and Northeast Texas. Responsibilities
Oversee and direct the sales efforts for multiple communities and products within the district, major markets, networks, and stand-alone communities. Responsible and accountable for meeting and exceeding occupancy and revenue goals. Support the professional development of community sales associates and provide coaching related to selling skills, pipeline management, and sales execution. Foster a strong sales performance culture across the district. Manage sales performance within the assigned district and monitor occupancy trends. Lead district alignment around competitive positioning and marketing plans. Develop the team of community sales associates and business development professionals. Assist in interviewing and hiring of all sales staff in the portfolio of communities. Ensure effective onboarding of new sales hires and monitor skill growth. Oversee completion of the marketing plan and budget for the district. Assess local markets and competitive positioning within the assigned district. Monitor sales performance expectations and gaps at the community and district level. Conduct coaching observations of sales team members. Visit each community within the district on a scheduled basis. Interact with Clinical Operations and other home office associates. Execute established sales processes, systems, and tools to perform job duties. Promote the company in a positive manner and set the example for the company’s standards for excellence. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of successful sales experience, preferably in senior housing industry, medical or pharmaceutical sales sectors. Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements:
Frequent car travel requires a valid driver’s license. Up to 70% travel. Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, and the ability to effectively manage time and tasks in a dynamic environment. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
