You will be responsible for providing substantive legal support to Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) in a variety of litigative activities related to national security litigation, such as international and domestic terrorism threats and attacks, hoax terrorism threats, espionage and mishandling of classified information, and the unlicensed export of military articles. Responsibilities will include:Independently performing extensive legal research.Preparing legal and administrative pleadings and correspondence.Reconciling conflicting facts and gathering missing information.Managing complex documentation and evidence.Participating in case meetings, court hearings, and conferring with case agents and attorneys.Education RequirementsAll academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
