CSUN is especially interested in candidates who make contributions to equity and inclusion in the pursuit of excellence for all members of the university community.Position:The department of Management at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.The successful candidate will teach courses on innovation management, technology management, and digital transformation, as well as within their disciplinary area in management and have research interests in the management of innovation in a digital age. This includes (but is not limited to) such topics as the future of work, innovation processes, technological change, technology strategy and the impact of emerging technologies on organizational work and structures. The candidate will likely explore how advancements such as artificial intelligence, automation, remote work, and the "gig economy" are reshaping organizations, industries, and societies, including the ethical implications of these transformations.In addition to teaching, the position requires weekly office hours, attending faculty meetings, participation in assessment of student learning, and service to the department, college, and university. The successful candidate may be required to teach on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or online and will be held to the standards and requirements of the college and department in which he/she/they is/are housed for recommending tenure and promotion.Required Qualifications:Ph.D. in Management, Innovation Management, Technology Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, or a closely related field. The doctorate degree must be from program(s) accredited by AACSB International or ABET (or an equivalent accreditation). The terminal degree must be awarded by the date of appointment.Excellence in, or clear potential for, university-level in-person teaching and in creating a student-centered learning environment.Evidence of, or clear potential for, conducting and publishing original research on the management of innovation and technology (with a preferred focus on digital transformation and/or the future of work) in peer-reviewed journals.Application Deadline:Preferred application deadline is
