Understanding and valuing these differences optimizes the potential of both the individual and the firm.HarbourVest is an equal opportunity employer.This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.Position OverviewReporting into the Managing Director, Head of Enterprise Continuous Improvement, the VP, Wealth Program Manager will be accountable for a portfolio of strategic initiatives spanning organizational, process, and overall Firm strategy focused entirely on the Wealth business. Additionally, the VP Wealth Program Manager will be responsible for developing a three-year roadmap and program of initiatives to accelerate HarbourVest’s digital transformation and build of the Wealth business. This will include assessing, measuring, and prioritizing business and operational processes to accelerate HarbourVest’s transformation to digital ways of working and deploying technology solutions to automate processes. The VP, Wealth Program Manager will also implement a robust change management program that will be employed during projects to drive strong adoptions of new ways of working along with a post project health process to ensure that change has been successfully adopted and benefits are realized.The ideal candidate is someone who is:Able to build strong partnerships, drive consensus and influence senior leadership across the organizationProactive, positive, and agileA resourceful problem solver capable of devising and implementing innovative solutions for the business.An excellent communicatorA self-starter, and someone who is comfortable leading in an evolving, fast-paced environmentProcess oriented with strong technology understandingWhat you will do:Work with Wealth leadership to find opportunities to drive transformation through process improvement, automation, implementation of technology, and re-imagining of operational modelsLead analysis of client and internal value chains to catalog business processes including identifying new processes based on unique business process requirements and develop business cases and execution plans for maximum impactLead cross-functional transformation efforts ensuring that solutions are supported by robust control frameworks and efficiently designed processesManage execution of approved initiatives to deliver outcomes on time, on budget, and with high quality regardless of process and/or technology development requiredPeriodically communicate transformation initiatives to HarbourVest senior leadership through a variety of channelsCollaborate with HarbourVest’s Data & Analytics teams to deploy business intelligence toolsManage Wealth Key Performance Indicators and Success Measures, developing action plans and defining implications of transformation efforts to efficiency savings ensuring the achievement of the Wealth business planCoach and develop a high performing team of experienced Business Process Engineers and IT Project ManagersWhat you bring:Proven track record in leadership roles in Finance or Consulting, Asset Management experience is highly desirable but not requiredExperience in enterprise transformation initiativesExpertise in delivering sophisticated, cross-functional initiativesProficiency in using data and metrics to drive decision making and link operating performance to the firm’s long-term objectivesHands-on experience with BI tools such as data sourcing, visualization and process automationEducation PreferredBachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experienceExperience10-15 years of proven experience in Financial Services or Consulting, preferably at a large institution.PMP, Lean Six Sigma, and ADKAR (or equivalent) certifications desired
