Our goal is to provide affordable home financing for our customers, utilizing the best terms available while providing a level of professionalism and service unsurpassed in the lending industry.Position SummaryThe Director, Inventor Fulfillment plays an important role in the organization by providing support to the company’s Secondary Marketing functions. The role is responsible, under minimal direction, for supporting the company’s strategy for liquidity of its mortgage inventory, and for optimizing the execution of whole loan and MBS loan sales, ensuring business processes are conducted in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner in full accordance with established Investor, Guild, State and Federal guidelines and regulations. This position has direct day-to-day responsibilities for the following areas: Document Management Dept – Notes Team, Final Documents and Corrections, Agency Deliveries, Securities Settlements.Essential FunctionsWork with Finance to strategically support various liquidity-related initiatives. Adhere to Warehouse Bank requirements for delivery of good collateral to custodians in a manner compliant with our Bank Agreements.Responsible for timely delivery of Collateral to Warehouse Banks and out to all investors in support of trade execution. Partner with Training and Production Ops to provide support for perfection of Collateral, Final Docs and Agency Deliveries.Participate in the implementation and own responsibility for subsequent operational execution of eNotes workflow for Guild’s mortgage fundings in compliance with all Investor and Regulatory requirements, observing and acting upon errors in data, process or strategy.Assist Capital Markets performing best execution from an operational perspective between GSE’s, Ginnie Mae and private investors, providing input into whole loan trades and MBS delivery options to optimize the company’s price execution.Must have strong partnership with Trading Desk, Finance, Servicing and Investors to ensure smooth deliveries, 3rd party Trade Tie Out and MBS Settlements in alignment with the execution of trades undertaken by the company. Continuous communication with Traders is essential.Develop and maintain strong business relationships with Agencies as well as Warehouse Banks/Custodians and Broker/Dealer community.Partner with Product Development, Prod Ops and Credit to ensure all products deliver the data required to efficiently deliver loans to Investors in compliance with Investor requirements.Collaborate with Credit, Product Development, Trailing Documents and Servicing functions to ensure all loan deliveries fully comply with all investor eligibility and documentation requirements.Responsible for GNMA Final Certification rules and deadlines.Partner with Loan Accounting function, providing Secondary Marketing information relevant for accurate investor reporting.Resolve escalated loan issues, remediating problem loans to minimize losses to the organization.Identify, track, and monitor trends and avoidable upstream loan-related errors; work across functions to develop complex solutions, improvements, and stop-gaps.Focus on continual compliance and improvement of policies, procedures, and processes falling under scope of authority. Scalability of processes must be a constant consideration.Drive continuous improvement in all processes throughout the organization to produce efficient and effective processes. Evaluate and recommend technical solutions which can continue to drive reduction of risk and deliver scalability within the end-to-end process.Provide adequate vendor oversight and reporting on all 3rd party outsourcing and custodians in compliance with regulations, Investor requirements and Guild policies.Effectively advocate for the company’s interest by building and maintaining solid investor relationships.Keep informed of industry trends and changing regulations and guidelines related to field of expertise; make changes to policy, practice, and process accordingly.Develop and administer Secondary Marketing related initiatives.Provide data and reports to senior-level management as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field, along with a minimum of seven years total experience in secondary mortgage marketing or loan accounting related role(s) required.Strong knowledge level of the secondary mortgage marketing process, including shipping, product development, data management and reporting, mortgage loan documentation process, and correspondent lending.Strong interpersonal skills and the professional demeanor necessary to interface with and influence senior-level executives.Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders in situations where only limited data exists.Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects in a deadline-driven environment; lead with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.Significant relationship building experience and a capacity to build and maintain professional alliances.Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.Ability to understand technical material from regulatory agencies, banks, and other third-parties.Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service within a team environment.Ability to effectively represent the company to outside parties, including investors and banks.Excellent verbal and communication skills required.Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.Ability to be patient and train less experienced team members; respond to questions, build capability.Ethical, with an unwavering commitment to company values.SupervisionMinimal to limited supervision required, depending on experience.High-level of independent judgment and decision making.Ability to develop a team atmosphere, including mentoring team members.Use sound judgment in executing core job responsibilities and in assigning work.Hire, train, coach, discipline, and exit team members.Travel:
