The goal of our People Science & Analytics team is to provide evidence-based data and insights across the employee life cycle to drive strategic talent and business decisions and this is a critical role on our team. We currently have one opening on the team. This role can be based out of any of our three US office locations (Boston, San Francisco, or Denver).About The RoleAs a senior analyst, you will be responsible for designing and building people metrics, dashboards, reporting, and conducting custom analyses for a diverse array of customers in and outside of HR. You will be aggregating and analyzing complex data across multiple, disparate data sources and presenting insights in a holistic, solution-oriented, and actionable format.You will have the opportunity to influence how we evolve our self-service data ecosystem and improve how employees consume people data at Klaviyo. The team will be looking to you as a people data expert with an ownership mentality and strong desire to go beyond the numbers, uncovering insights behind the data. The prospective candidate will have strong people metrics knowledge (non-recruiting and recruiting), systems and tech grasp (Workday, Greenhouse, Tableau, etc.), excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. You will play an integral part in driving the adoption and evolution of our people analytics products, building the people analytics muscle of the company and driving adoption of a people data-driven approach. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong mix of backend data and systems understanding, data analysis expertise, consulting mindset skills, and a storytelling ability.What You'll DoLead and develop dashboards, key metrics, and reporting tools that offer visibility into key people trends and inform decision-making across HR (recruiting, DEI, talent movement, attrition etc.)Build, maintain, and evolve our recruiting and diversity metrics ecosystemStrengthen the people data foundations at Klaviyo by surfacing sustainable solutions to our data architecture and conducting data audits and validationsAbility to create intuitive visualizations based on strong people metrics knowledge (recruiting and non-recruiting metrics) and
voice of the customerIdentify data patterns and conduct custom analysis intended to answer important questions that inform people and talent strategyExperience with people analytics suite (Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, One Model, Visier) and deep understanding of HR data structure and systems (HRIS- Workday, ATS- Greenhouse, LMS, and other business facing systems) to understand the upstream and downstream effects of data changes on systems and processes and proactively identifying those process or system improvements.Collaborate cross-functionally (DEI, L&D, Ops, Recruiting, BP’s, Finance etc.) to understand their business and people needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions in collaboration with other members of the people analytics teamProactively identify and communicate compelling workforce stories, trends, and actionable insights via people data and business immersion to help drive accountability, focus and outcomesEmpower partner teams to enhance their proficiency with understanding and using people data to make evidence-based decisionsDemonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people dataWhat We're Looking For5+ years experience in fields such as people/HR analytics, management consulting, business analytics, or related analytics areasPreferred experience with recruiting and DEI metricsAnalytical mindset - fluency in metrics and statistics, visualization, data management, etc., knowledge of statistical analysisFluency in SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, R, Python and preferable experience with people analytics tech suite (Qualtrics, One Model, Visier etc.)Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasksIntegrity in handling confidential, sensitive people dataExcellent verbal/written communication skills and effective presentation skillsRole model in diagnosing data discrepancies and identifying data patternsCurious mindset and a true people partnerThe pay range for this role is listed below.
