Job Description
Establishes and maintains Client business level strategic relationships, then utilizing and building on these relationships to better understand Clients’ business goals and objectives. The VCIO is responsible for establishing technology budgeting and strategic roadmaps for Clients that both reduce business risk and facilitate technology improvements across the business.Job Responsibilities
Perform regular onsite or remote Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) with key Client stakeholdersMaintain and secure existing IT infrastructuresMaintain frequent remote unique touches with ClientsMaintain, plan and develop a strategic roadmap profile for each ClientComplete VCIO alignment reviews, based on Technology Alignment ReviewsMaintain clear and precise business and alignment objectives for each ClientMaintain Clients’ technology budgetsContribute to the maintenance of the ITS Standards LibraryActively participate in the Standards and Alignment CommitteeDesign and present technology proposals (in coordination with Design Desk)Provide professional services with a backlog of project workReview project results for success criteria outcomes, budget, timelines, and client experienceMaintain strong Client relationshipsKeep abreast of the development of relevant IT and telecommunication systems, hardware and software applications within the industryConduct thorough checking and self-checking of information and documentationMaintain Strategic Business Review files and keep related documentation in orderAssist in the training, mentoring and development of staffPerform general office duties as requiredLiaise with, manage, and advise Clients, other consultants, and contractors and attend meetings as requiredPerform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assignedAdopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the positionImplement, participate, and promote Company Policies and ProceduresMaintain a close coordination and working relationship with the Alignment TeamBridging the gap between the client/business and the Alignment Team and Service OrgInvestigate solutions based on individual client needsPresent specifications and requirements for purchasing of new servers, networking equipment, cloud solutions, etc. to the Design Desk TeamReview workplans presented by the Design Desk Team to ensure goals are being met for clientProactively plan/review projects with clients that align with client’s business needsCollaborate with other departments to deliver outstanding customer serviceJob KPI'S
